Creativity that Builds People
Dance United has served this community since 2019, coaching dancers of all ages. In July 2026, we became the flagship program of Creativity Unites, a nonprofit built on the belief that the act of creating together can connect people across ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Today, we offer programs for every age and stage, from preschoolers to returning adults. Whether trying something new for ten weeks or training seriously toward competition, our goal is the same: helping people grow and connect through creativity. We're proud to build on our foundation while stepping into something bigger, together.
Our recreational tier is our 10-week session program, open to dancers and creatives of all ages, including adults. In addition to our dance combo classes for younger dancers, Recreational now includes elective offerings like sewing for ages 11 and up, giving older kids, teens, and adults a low-commitment way to explore a new skill or creative outlet on the same session schedule. Each dance session ends with a showcase, giving dance classes a chance to perform what they've learned. What you'll learn: - The basics of movement, rhythm, and coordination (dance classes) - A new creative skill, like sewing, in a relaxed, low-pressure setting (electives) - Confidence trying something new - The joy of creating and performing alongside others How to explore an interest without a long-term commitment Best fit for: Anyone, any age, wanting a low-commitment way to explore dance or a new creative skill.
Our Academy tier is our full-season program, running September through May, for dancers ready to commit to consistent training and real growth. Dancers train across our Introductions through Advanced levels, building technical skill style by style while taking on opportunities in leadership, coaching, and competition team. Each season culminates in two performances: a Showcase and our Spring Recital. What you'll learn: Growing technical skill and confidence across your chosen dance styles The discipline and consistency that come from a full season of training Real coaching from instructors invested in your growth Leadership skills, including opportunities to mentor others and take on responsibility within the studio The joy of performing and seeing a full season of hard work come together Best fit for: Preschool through high school dancers ready for consistent training and growth — as dancers and as people.
Our Teen/Adult tier is our semester-long program, giving teens a chance to try something new outside our children's classes, and adults a welcoming way to return to dance after time away or try something new. Classes cover a range of styles, and dancers perform in either our Holiday Showcase or Spring Recital, depending on the semester they enroll. No experience is required, and every class offers high-quality instruction no matter your starting point. What you'll learn: To move at your own pace, with no pressure to compare High-quality instruction, no matter your experience level A new skill in a welcoming, low-stakes environment That it's never too late to start or return to dance Best fit for: Teens wanting something new outside the kids' classes, and adults returning to dance after time away.
