Creativity that Builds People
Dance United has served this community since 2019, coaching dancers of all ages. In July 2026, we became the flagship program of Creativity Unites, a nonprofit built on the belief that the act of creating together can connect people across ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Today, we offer programs for every age and stage, from preschoolers to returning adults. Whether trying something new for ten weeks or training seriously toward competition, our goal is the same: helping people grow and connect through creativity. We're proud to build on our foundation while stepping into something bigger, together.
ages 13+ · Teen/Adult Classes
Focus: A fresh start or a return to dance. No experience required to get started. Best fit for: Teens & adults wanting something new outside the kids' classes or for those returning to dance after time away.
ages 3–99 · Recreation Classes
Focus: Try something new like dance or another creative skill. Best fit for: Anyone, ages 3+ (must be potty-trained), wanting a low-commitment way to explore dance or a new creative skill.
ages 5–12 · Academy Classes
Elementary Academy is our full-season program for young dancers ready to build real technical skill and consistency. Running September through May, dancers train across our Introductions and Foundations levels, growing their technique style by style while learning what it means to commit to something all year long. Dancers perform in both our Showcase and Spring Recital, and are asked to maintain consistent attendance with no more than 10 missed class days across the season, to support their growth. Additional recital and costume fees apply.
ages 11–19 · Academy Classes
Grades 6th-12th This program runs September through May and requires consistent attendance, with no more than 10 missed class days across the entire season, reflecting the discipline expected at this level of training. Dancers here are working toward advanced technique and performance quality, and many take on leadership roles, including opportunities to try out for our competition team. Attendance at rehearsals is expected as dancers prepare for both our Showcase and Spring Recital. Additional recital and costume fees apply.
ages 3–5 · Academy Classes
Mini Movers is also offered as a full-season Academy program for families ready for a longer commitment. Running September through May, this program builds on the same age-appropriate, supportive introduction to dance, with more consistent training and structure across the full year. Dancers perform in both our Showcase and Spring Recital, and are asked to maintain consistent attendance, with no more than 10 missed class days across the season, to support their growth. Additional recital and costume fees apply. Dancers must be potty trained.
